I jinxed it!

Remember my pole art? The one that I posted about a few days ago? Well, it's gone :( Without a trace. The last one lasted almost 11 months without any vandalism and this one lasted, what? 3 days? I checked the garbages in the park -- not there -- my only solace is that someone has taken it to put up on their wall at home. I'm already thinking ahead to what I will put there next. Surprised? Well, it is MY pole. I couldn't have someone else putting something up, could I?

If I saw something totally cool like that, I *might* be tempted to take it. I would at least definitely take a picture of it. :)

I think you need to put more up.

You are making me think I need to do it too! There's a big pole down stairs that looks awful sparse! :)

Let's just hope it got stolen by someone who really needed it, rather than trashed.
Still, it was not a nice thing to do and whoever it was will get a similar action back at them....

Hey Martha ! Haven't been here in awhile. Saw this post and went and took a look back at the glorious way you decorated your pole ! Wowza ! What a gorgeous splash of color ! I guess soemone got greedy for it...Don't get disheartened though. I say, put up another and another, before you know it, TO will be shiny and green ! ;)
Keep up the beautiful work, my friend !

I know that the city workers go around and scrape the poles on College....perhaps they ventured down your street....

Well, you gave all of us a ray of sunshine with it. Hopefully the person who took it is in desperate need of that same sunshine.

I agree,

funny how we "own" a pole isn't it?
