I love making these! It's 2" wide and does up with buttons. It looks so nice on my wrist. I think that I'll have to keep it for myself. Sorry to the person who I was going to send it to. I'll have to make you another one....
question: If I make wrist quilties to sell, how do I make it fit the person's wrist ?-- do I just do it a bit big, and then let the purchaser move the buttons? or do I ask their measurement when they buy it, and THEN sew the buttons on? (this is assuming that I'd be selling them online)

I love this idea and will soon make plans to "borrow" it. For the size things - why don't you make them in three sizes (large, medium and small) and have people pick which sizes?
Did I show you mine? It's called a cuff. the person who made it for me a couple of years ago made them in average size and made it so you could move the button. I'll try and remember to bring mine of Friday.
Oh, your crazy bird has a twin on my blog.....I used it in a funny collage I made once upon a time! check it out!!

What a great idea, I want one! For the sizing you could put extra buttons on the cuff and then the person can fasten it where it's appropriate, or you could (yuk) use velcro, I know it wouldn't look as nice as buttons.
Love the idea that Joanne had to make them in different sizes. Love the idea of three buttons so that they could get it to fit any wrist or even cup.
I WANT ONE!!!!
Ok maybe velcro?? to make them adjustable?? elastic loops??
the standers for bracelets are 7 and 8 inches...
with 7 being the size for most women.
I really like what you did :)
This is very cool! :)
